Wedding Bellyblessings

Hi Laila
Thanks for your email, and thanks for a truly professional performance at Lindsay and Darrens wedding. We had kept this a surprise from everyone for maximum effect and all our guests were totally blown away !The gifts presented to the happy couple were greatly appreciated and are a special reminder of their wedding day.All the guests agreed that you made it the best reception they had attended especially as you involved them in your routine.Darren maybe felt a little embarrassed but as you know a lot of local men dont like dancing, but he took it well and once he relaxed he started to enjoy himself.Lindsay loved it,the music ,the outfit and the look on Darrens face ! The routine was longer than we thought it would be and so much the better for it (i`m sure you must have been quite tired by the end )

So many thanks to you Laila and we know who to contact in the future for any major celebrations we may be hosting.

Kind regards
Jean

Hello Laila,
I am typing this email as i really wanted to write a few sincere words to you.

My husband and i cannot thank you enough for your wonderful part in making our wedding day so unforgettable and fun. From the moment i met you i knew what an amazing person you were. The day i flew over from England to get my dancing lessons from you i was full of exciteement and anticipation. I could not have been made feel more at ease by your friendliness and kindness with our cup of tea and egyptian delacasies. The whole experience from boarding that plane from London, to driving the windey country roads to your home was an experience in itself.
Your proffessionalism tied in with your fun factor is irreplacable. I learned so much from you that day, in the hope of "Wooing" my Turkish husband and my future In-Laws. You were so patient and understanding while i was trying to grasp the hang of the Shimmies and leg kicks! what a wonderful laugh we had.
All your good teaching paid off and true enough our dance routine stole the show.
On the 7th May our wedding took place and you really did us proud and i thank you so very dearly. We truly had a wonderful time with you and sincerley want to say a huge thank you for everything you did with your amazing outfits and fabulous dancing. I would recommend you to everyone!
We will never forget you.

Much Love

The Dance Studio

Dear Kristyene,

Thankyou so much for teaching at our Summer School this week, our pupils have really enjoyed your classes.

Every year I like the children to experience other dance forms and they have really benefited from you passing on your skills and so promoting Middle Eastern Dance culture to them. The youngest group of 7-8 year olds were able to experience dance with a veil, the second group of 9-10 year olds enjoyed dancing to the drums in Egyptian tabla and the third group of 12-15 year olds have been thrilled with your choreography showing how Middle Eastern Dance is evolving into the future.

This has been a unique experience for all of the 63 pupils who will have gained a greater understanding of Middle Eastern Dance, thank you.

Yours sincerely,
Nicola Drake. The Dance Studio.

Rotary Club of North Down

On behalf of North Down Rotary Club I would like to express our thanks for your excellent contribution to the Club's Xmas party night.

Members greatly appreciated the high degree of skill that you demonstrated in interpreting a range of dances and your performances helped create a really enjoyable atmosphere.

With best wishes for 2009.

Belfast Health and Social Care Trust

Dear Kristyene,

I wish to thank you for facilitating the Egyptian Dance which we incorporated as part of our 'Lawrence of Arabia' theme day in September.

From our initial meeting you offered guidance and support in relation to costumes, sets and dances.

You choreographed several different dances to suit the clients you were working with, all of whom have a learning disability, while some also have mobility issues.

The staff and clients thoroughly enjoyed the training sessions in the week leading up to our
theme day.

The actual theme day was a huge success - everyone involved in the dancing enjoyed showing off their new moves, while the spectators were delighted to see how much work everyone had put in and the fruits of their success.

We were all very impressed by the dances you gave on the day - it was very entertaining and many commented on your beautiful outfit.

As you can see from the photographs, it was a very successful day.

Once again, thank you for your involvement. It was much appreciated.

I wish you every success in all your future ventures.

Kind regards.
Faye McLennon. Senior Day Care Worker. Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.

SDLP North Down

Dear Kristyene,

Isis Dance Troupe.

On behalf of the North Down Branch of the SDLP I'd like to thank you and your group for providing a wonderful night's entertainment at our function last Wednesday evening (25th April 2007). Everyone was delighted at the opportunity to sample a dance culture not familiar to folk in North Down and it was entertainment of the highest professional standard.

I also noted that a number of people expressed interest in the health promotion and exercise aspects of this style of dance and I am certain that this will provide many opportunities for new dancers and a healthier population.

It is tremendously important that more people in Northern Ireland in general are exposed to different cultural influences and experiences and ISIS is an excellent embodiment of cultural diversity since the group comprises dancers from different backgrounds and traditions delivering authentic Egyptian dance. We would be delighted and indeed privileged to host another performance in the future and would be happy to provide a recommendation to any one considering engaging you and your dancers.

In the meantime, I remain,

Yours Sincerely,

Liam Logan. Chair, SDLP North Down.
