Venue: Conlig Main Hall - Bangor Laila is available for Workshops and Tuition. Students’ Comments I was very aware of my size but since coming to class I’ve grown in confidence. I feel free when I dance. Brilliant, excellently broken down routines. The dancing is a lot harder than I expected. I knew good co-ordination would be involved. In something called “bellydancing”, I was surprised at how many other muscle groups are involved. Toned stomach, a lot fitter, more healthy. I feel better mentally and stronger. Bellydancing has brought out my more feminine side, I feel quite liberated after dancing. A very patient teacher with a good way of making you understand each new dance move – always makes it seem fun rather than pressure. Sexy, fun, feminine exercise. Thought it would be easier than it was. Feel healthier and fitter. Various styles introduced and a wider understanding delivered at a suitable pace. Makes it an enjoyable evening where everyone mixes. I think the teaching is very professional, fun,energetic and uplifting because she demonstrates everything and goes over it if you don’t understand anything. She also teaches us about the different cultures. It also helps people with their illnesses such as diabetes by helping to keep the sugar under control. |
